Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) in El-Segundo, California, seeks an experienced **Software Configuration Management Engineer** to support its Government Proprietary programs.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and review of software documentation for internal consistency and adherence to Boeing and program standards.
- Oversee configuration control of software work products.
- Generate Software CM records as evidence of adherence to Software CM plans and Boeing standards.
- Verify accuracy of software deliveries, both internal and external.
- Support **Change Boards** and respond to internal audits and customer queries.

To meet security standards and protocols, all work is performed onsite in El Segundo, CA.

This position requires an active U.S. **TS/SCI** Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
- Experienced in Software **Configuration Management**.

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**:

- ** NDIA** certification.
- Supervisory or Task Lead experience.
- Experienced in **Automated Builds** & **DevSecOps**.

**Typical Education & Experience**:
Experienced (level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.)

Lead (level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).
