Elysian Aeshetics, an established 5-star medical spa in the heart of Rosenberg, is hiring an experienced manager. Medical spa or beauty industry experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities and core competencies:
The center manager is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources for a team of 5-6 employee’s: including payroll, recruiting and hiring, onboarding, reviews, action plans and terminations.

The manager is responsible for ensuring all staff understand the expectations of their roles and they are held accountable to meet company expectations. If expectations are not met, the manager will create a plan with the employee in writing with follow up at 30/60 days.

Sales activity is an important component of the managers role. Not only will the manager give employees sales tasks, but he or she will participate in sales activities as well. This includes but is not limited to generating quotes and discussing financing for new packages, following up with unsold prospects, handling package inquiries in person and via phone.

Cost management is the responsibility of the business manager, including reviewing profits and loss statements each month. The results of these reports must be discussed with the owner with a plan of action to potentially reduce costs.

Staff meetings are key to ensuring everyone is on the same page with new procedures/processes, sales promotions and company changes (new hires, changes in roles, etc). All staff meetings are required monthly with individual team meetings encouraged twice a month.

Customer service is under the umbrella of the managers authority. Even if you are not directly handing a customer complaint or concern, it is important the manager is made aware of the complaint as well as the resolution. Escalated issues will be dealt directly with the manager. Phone and in person verbiage and etiquette are directed by the manager to staff.

Sales reporting - the manager must analyze sales reports including lead/conversion reports, cash in and production sales for each respective staff member. These metrics and kpis should be discussed with sales/provider staff. If the staff member is not meeting kpis, this needs to be addressed with an action plan and follow up.

The manager is responsible for inventory and maintaining back bar, medical supplies and retail product par levels. He or she will also be tasked to leverage vendor discounts to get the best pricing available.
