As the Business Manager, you will serve as a key strategic advisor and right-hand person to the executive leadership team. You will play a pivotal role in driving initiatives forward, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and fostering collaboration across departments. The Business Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that the business operates efficiently and effectively, acting as both a facilitator and a driver of the organization's strategic agenda.
**Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following**:
- ** Strategic Planning**: Assist the CEO and other executives in coordinating strategic plans to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth.
- ** Operational Support**: Oversee and ensure the implementation of strategic initiatives, often acting as a project manager to ensure that different departments align with the executive’s vision.
- ** Communication**: Serve as a liaison between top management and other stakeholders, ensuring clarity in communication and consistency in the execution of company policies and strategies.
- ** Meeting and Agenda Management**: Prepare for and facilitate meetings and leadership discussions. This often includes defining the agenda, keeping time, ensuring key issues are discussed, and follow-ups.
- ** Problem Solving**: Address issues that affect the overall operations of the organization, mediating disputes, and making necessary decisions to foster a productive work environment.
- ** Team Leadership and Development**: Build and lead teams, providing mentoring and guidance to staff.
- ** Reporting and Analysis**: Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance. Develop reports for management regarding the status of ongoing projects and initiatives.
**To** **join** **our** **band,** **you'll** **need** **the** **following** **experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees like an MBA can be preferred.
- Graduate experience in management, consulting, or a related field. Active player is preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of driving strategic initiatives and managing complex projects.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects.
- Personal Attributes: High integrity, discretion, and impartiality, with the ability to work well under pressure and handle sensitive information.

**Pay Rate: $130,000.00 - $163,000.00 **annually depending on background and experience. This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance.
