**Summary**
The Landscaper/ Maintenance position is responsible for property maintenance and troubleshooting and repairing equipment and building systems. This position is responsible for ensuring facilities are functional, well maintained, and clean.

**Essential Functions**
- Perform property upkeep, lawn maintenance, clearing debris within and surrounding the property.
- Operate mowers, weed whackers, saws, power tools, and hand tools.
- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance on lawncare equipment.
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
- Keep records of repairs and replacements made and causes of malfunctions.
- Estimate, order, pick up, deliver, and install materials and supplies needed to maintain equipment in good working condition.
- Snow and ice removal.

The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing on a regular basis. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.

**Environmental Conditions**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to refrigeration, extreme temperatures, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Landscaping role is exposed to outside conditions.

**Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work**
This is a full-time Union position. Hours of work are 6:30am - 3:00pm, with occasional overtime.

**Required Education and Experience**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience landscaping.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Experience performing routine maintenance.
