Overview:
The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting the bartending staff by ensuring the bar area is well-stocked, clean, and organized. They assist in preparing ingredients, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patrons.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.00 plus tips

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist bartenders in setting up and closing down the bar area before and after service.
- Keep the bar stocked with supplies such as ice, glassware, and garnishes.
- Prepare and restock ingredients, including syrups, juices, and garnishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces and disposing of empty bottles and trash.
- Retrieve and serve drinks to customers as needed.
- Monitor and replenish inventory levels throughout the shift, notifying management when supplies are running low.
- Assist in handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for patrons, ensuring compliance with all alcohol service regulations.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic bartending techniques and drink recipes is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Minimum age requirement for serving alcohol in the respective jurisdiction.
- Food handler's certification and/or responsible alcohol service certification may be required, depending on local regulations.
