Job Title: Inside Sales Rep
Department: Sales
Reports To: Inside Sales Manager
Classification: Hourly
Pay Range: $20 - $26.60
**GENERAL PURPOSE**:
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible to work directly with customers from assigned accounts to provide information and take orders to meet customer’s needs.
- Answers telephone responds correctly to customer questions, and processes orders in a timely manner.
- Serves as liaison between internal and external customers (including sales, plant management & engineering) as needed to resolve any issues related to orders.
- Expedites the processing of special orders to satisfy customer deadlines.
- Remain flexible, open and positive when faced with challenging needs and customer demands.
- Performs special projects as assigned to support sales and customer service functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:
- High School diploma or equivalent required or other related field or a successful combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to communicate concisely in written or verbal manner and to present a valid argument and support conclusions based on that argument.
- Ability to work flexible hours depending upon business needs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight timetables.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent Attendance - Only one Attendance Counselling
