**Responsibilities**:

- This position is responsible for medical billing and payment posting.
- Patient demographic entry.
- Ensure coding including diagnosis and CPT codes are accurate at the time of billing.
- Verify and reconcile all copays, co insurances, and deductibles daily.
- Research and resolve any missing charges or data with Imaging Center Managers.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts with insurance carriers and patients.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a medical biller and collector in an Imaging/Radiology practice.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a medical biller/collector.
- CPC Coder Certification preferred.
- Medisoft billing software is a plus.
- Professional references required.

**Knowledge/Skills**:

- Working knowledge of Imaging/Radiology billing practice, CPT codes, and ICD10s.
- Strong knowledge or payer guidelines and reimbursement policies.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to organize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- High production goals.

**Experience**:

- Medical Billing Imaging/Radiology Specialist: 5 years.
- ICD-10 and CPT Coding: 4 years (required)
- Medical Billing Imaging: 5 years (required)

**Education**:

- High School or equivalent (required)
