Receptionist/secretary Responsibilities:

- Report claims with insurance companies
- Obtain evidence, documents, police report, ambulance, medical records and medical bills
- Open Medicare, Medi-Cal, Rawlings, Meridian, and other health insurance subrogation claims
- Filing SR-1, SR-19, DMV plate search, etc.
- Request Medical Records and follow up on Medical Records requests
- Follow up with medical providers on client’s treatment status
- Assist with client medical treatment
- Discuss claims with insurance adjusters and attorneys
- Organize and maintain electronic case files within the company software/case management system
- Call potential clients and do client intake
- Other tasks will be assigned as necessary

Receptionist/Secretary Qualifications:

- Prior Personal Injury experience preferred
- 1 year minimum of legal assistant/law firm experience required
- Customer service and highly detail-oriented skills are necessary
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) with high proficiency preferred

Compensation:

- $40,000-$60,000 per year based on skills and experience

**Location**:

- In office in Calabasas, CA

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Personal injury law: 2 years (preferred)
- Legal Assistant/Law Firm: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
