**Duties**:
- Conduct client interviews to gather relevant information for legal cases
- Assist attorneys in managing and organizing legal documents and case files
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Review and analyze documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with trial preparation, including witness coordination and exhibit preparation
**Requirements**:
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Proven experience as a paralegal in family law or related field
- In-depth knowledge of legal procedures and terminology
- Proficient in legal research and case management software, such as Lexis-Nexis
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with document management systems and electronic filing procedures
As a Family Law Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorney in providing high-quality legal services to our clients. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of family law cases, assisting with everything from client interviews to trial preparation. If you are detail-oriented, have strong research skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Prior experience as a paralegal in family law or a related field is required. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including retirement plans and paid downtown parking.
