We are looking for a part-time (possibly evolving to a full-time) **Design Studio** **Assistant** to oversee day-to-day operations and manage aspects of the studio practice, which ranges from design to consulting, writing, public speaking and exhibition work.

**As a Studio Assistant on the Julia Watson LLC team, you will;**
- Set up meetings / calls
- Book travel / support ahead of and during travel
- Assist with keeping space clean and organized
- Assist with office event set up and coordination for staff and/or clients
- Social Media posts via Airtable
- Assist with writing for documents, lectures, articles, and other projects
- Assist with image and video editing
- Assist with inputting images into different document
- Curate a newsletter sharing the studio’s work every couple of months
- Update press links to a master document and the company website on Wix
- Assistance in management book project and image permissions
- Assistance in management of an online curriculum

**To join us, you must have;**
- 1 year minimum experience working in a design studio
- Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are required
- Knowledge of Wix is required
- Social media platforms (IG, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Airtable)
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and Acrobat is required
- Knowledge of basic CAD is required
- Organizational and management skills as well as independent work ethic required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn
- Collaborative and professional work ethic

**Schedule**
- Immediate starting date
- 2-3 day per week schedule at a studio located in BedStuy, Brooklyn.
