We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and their families.
**Responsibilities**:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent implementation of treatment goals
- Assist with the assessment of client progress through data analysis
- Maintain accurate and organized medical records
**Skills**:
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Strong data collection and analysis skills
- Understanding of behavior management strategies
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in special education or related field is preferred
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
