GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Provide administrative support to the marketing operation through assembly and delivery of marketing promotions, shipping and receiving marketing items and the development and coordination of various promotions and systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Answer, screen, and transfer inbound phone calls; directs visitors and clients
- General clerical duties including scanning, photocopying, fax, and mailing
- Handle requests for information and data
- Process promotional rebates to customers on all product lines
- Track, submit rebate, co-op advertising and bid assistance paperwork/claims with vendors
- Assist sales department with customer quotes, mailings, product registrations
- Provide warranty claim support to service department and customers
- Maintain various office and company computer programs
- Generate reports and other documents
- Receive parts inventory into system; allocate
- Coordinate with third parties to develop marketing and advertising materials and documents.
- Work with Sales to develop and publish Manufacturers Programs on a regular basis.
- Communicate with and prepare/coordinate customer mailings.
- Provide support for marketing events.
- Update marketing communication platforms such as websites and social media.
- Prepare presentations.
- Assist in the production of marketing materials including advertisements and brochures.
- Oversee distribution of marketing materials.
- Write articles and promotional material.
- Upload marketing material to online sites.
- Update and maintain the marketing department's documentation and databases.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-2 years related experience and/or training.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- Ability to manage multiple phone line system
- Communication skills - written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management
- General Knowledge of Accepted Accounting Principles
- Flexibility
- Problem assessment and solving abilities
- Excellence in Customer Service
- At least two years administrative work experience and/or similar work experience as a Marketing Assistant or Coordinator
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal, proofreading skills
- Planning, organizing, prioritizing
- Problem assessment and problem solving
- Information gathering and information monitoring
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Valid driver's license

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
