Seeking a Part-Time (20hrs/week) Family Support Specialist for a First-Episode Early Psychosis Treatment Program.
This program is part of the Massachusetts Early Psychosis Network and is guided by the NAVIGATE model for Coordinated Specialty Care. This program serves adolescents through young adults. Position is based at 2 CHA locations, Cambridge and Malden, to serve a large catchment area that includes Cambridge, Somerville, Malden, Everett, and Boston’s Metro North Region.
The Family Support Specialist will provide coordinated care for patients, specifically in educating and supporting the patients’ families and significant others.
They will attend regular meetings with RISE team to hear their concerns on behalf of families who may have missed an appointment, are disconnected or who are otherwise at-risk

**Qualifications**:
Prior experience advocating for families beside their own.
Ability to represent “family voice” on the clinical team when interventions are being discussed, but, also, at a leadership level, if asked.
Positive interpersonal presence as a team member
Preferably bi-cultural and bi-lingual, when needed for the population being served
Preference for someone experienced with patients with early onset psychotic illnesses and their families.
