**How this role supports our mission**:
The Kaizen Auditor is responsible for conducting Kaizen audits, completing scoring of audits and communicating to the team. This position plays the leading role in fostering a culture of process improvements through the use of LEAN processing and Kaizen methodologies. The primary goals are to improve all operational aspects of donated goods processes to provide safer work environments and enhance profitability.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To**:

- Demonstrate company’s values at all times.
- Performs monthly Kaizen audits
- Completes scoring of audits.
- Communicates audit scoring to the team in a supportive and effective manner.
- Must update Kaizen binders in stores as needed.
- Distributes Kaizen related equipment in order to ensure consistency.
- Train staff on Kaizen audits.
- Attend monthly Kaizen meeting to share best practices and address issues.
- Attend monthly safety committee meetings.
- Supports safety and loss prevention as directed.
- Assists with other duties as directed.
- Manage tasks and commitments to ensure effective follow through and delivery of Kaizen objectives.

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
- Ability to efficiently produce in all areas and cashier according to the Kaizen standards.
- Ability to maintain records and documentation.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Through knowledge of the non-profit industry.
- Strong ability to plan, organize and train.
- Computer proficiency required with various software; i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and others.
- Ability to convey a positive and professional image to employees, customers and donors.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have a current Arizona Driver’s license and an acceptable driving record as defined by the company’s audit insurance carrier.
- Must be able to travel to a variety of Goodwill facilities on a daily basis.
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all individuals.
