Past experience in a front desk/reception area in a dental office and a familiarity with common dental insurance is required for consideration for this position. Hourly salary is based on past experience. Certain 401(K) matching, employee discount, and paid time off benefits are available after 1 full year of employment.

Job responsibilities include:

- Scheduling patient appointments;
- Calling patients on behalf of the office as needed;
- Present treatment plans to patient and obtain consent signatures prior to actual service;
- Check-out patients and collect fees from balances due;
- Assist other front desk staff with patient check-in as needed;
- Keep workspace clean and participate in required medical office training.

Requirements include:

- Focus on a positive patient experience
- A friendly, warm and energetic attitude - contributing to an exceptional patient experience is one of the most important aspects of this job
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability during work hours of Monday through Thursday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM
- Comfort with computers to effectively learn to use medical office software (Dentrix), an understanding of effective scheduling to balance a doctor's ability with production, and an understanding of how to read a patient's ledger
- Able to prioritize, multi-task, and adapt quickly to changes
- Organized and strong attention to detail

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 35 per week
