**Data Analyst, Trauma Registrar**

**(This position is remote with occasional onsite work in Lafayette, Indiana)**

This position involves abstracting data from trauma patients and entering into trauma registry; analyzing data to look for trends and work closely with trauma manager, outreach coordinator, and performance improvement coordinator to improve outcomes in trauma patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provides data analysis and database management support to programs and initiatives.
- Serves as a resource person to all levels of management in reviewing, understanding, and analyzing data for performance improvement initiatives.
- Provides data analysis support, report generation, data validation, and serves as an expert user, providing training for additional system users.

STRONGLY PREFERRED:

- Medical Background
- Coding experience

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience.
- Clinical and/or healthcare experience preferred.
