- Answer phones, Greet and log in patients arriving in the office
- Help patients with their needs and help them solve their healthcare related problems

- Request, track and follow up on Authorization Requests
- Perform eligibility verifications by phone and internet; assess results
- Collect copayments and coinsurance
- Maintain medical records, paper and electronic
- Monitor distribute and act on incoming faxes, including referrals and other items
- Respond to and complete physician requests
- Process referrals from and to other physicians
- Prepare correspondence
- Enter data in Electronic Health Record (EHR) to meet Center for Medicare Service’s (CMS) Meaningful Use requirements
- Spanish speaking is required.
- Perform all other tasks as needed or assigned

**Qualifications/Education**:

- Medical Assistant Program Certification
- Current CPR Certification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One to two years related experience preferred
- Required Spanish Bilingual/Multilingual skills

**Skills Required**:

- Good communication skills; verbal and written
- Basic computer skills
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
