**ABOUT THE POSITION**:
To assist clients in maintaining financial stability by providing budgeting and bill paying services as a Social Security Rep Payee.

**_ By_**:

- Working with case workers to establish client budgets, make timely payments for rent, utilities, spending money and other essentials for approximately 50 clients.
- Providing accurate monthly spending statements to clients and yearly spending statements to Social Security.***

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work collaboratively with staff across departments to assist with the development of client budgets in conjunction with case manager while following Social Security guidelines.
- Assist in establishing client Rep Payee bank accounts and Social Security direct deposits.
- Make timely payments of rent, utilities, and other bills on behalf of the client.
- Provide client and case worker with monthly report of spending and financial standing.
- Provide Social Security with yearly spending reports.
- Participate in Social Security audits.
- Complete accounts payable functions; including check printing and mailing, invoice attaching and filing, and invoice compliance review.
- Act as administrator for the electronic mileage tracking/reimbursement system.
- Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
- Assist Finance team in auditing and maintaining accurate data in the financial systems.
- Perform other Finance Department tasks as needed, including account reviews, reconciliations, research, and purchasing system support.
- Cross train with other team members to provide seamless backup support for the unique functions/tasks performed by each individual team member, including the Accounts Payable function.
- Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings, and other meetings as assigned.
- Additional duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**: High School diploma.

**Experience**: Experience with Microsoft Money, EXCEL, WORD and automated Accounts Payable functions required. Working knowledge of Rep Payee Social Security Policy and Procedures a plus.

**Licensure/Certification/Registration**: None required.

**COMPENSATION**:
$18.86/hr min. - $ 28.29/hr max., dependent upon experience.
- Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
