Production/manufacturing Technician

All Biowest USA employees are required to cultivate an environment of quality & compliance. This includes attending all required training, adhering to the processes & procedures of the company, and displaying the highest level of integrity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Conduct the Manufacture of all company products per approved procedures and protocols.
- Perform tasks assigned by his/her manager deemed necessary for safe & efficient operations.
- Work with Quality departments to create and/or modify methods and procedures to ensure that appropriate processes and/or products are developed, and that products, materials, and manufacturing equipment meet required standards.
- Assist with new product and process development and implementation as assigned by his/her manager.
- Work with Quality departments to trend investigations and respond to the recommended corrective actions for processes and products.
- Assist in the development and utilization of equipment calibration and preventive maintenance systems.
- Work and Perform tasks in a manner that will assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications to standards, such as GMP and ISO regulations.
- May be involved in training and oversight of newly hired production technicians or assistants.
- Suggest improvements to increase efficiency of processes and procedures
- Detailed job functions may include the following tasks:
1. Labeling and aliquoting per manufacturing orders

2. Inspection and monitoring of production equipment

3. Filtration and filling under aseptic conditions

4. Follow GMP documentation practices

5. Uses walkie stacker as necessary

6. Maintain an organized and clean work environment (Freezers, workstations, Warehouse, breakrooms)

7. Ability to stand for long periods of time.

8. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis

9. Must be able to bend, twist, kneel.

10. Stand for long periods of time

11. Excellent punctuality

12. Good focus

13. Problem solver

14. Follow and understand instructions

15. Desire to advance

16. Proficiency in Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Understanding English

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Have the ability to work in a team environment and interact with other groups (e.g., Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Management etc.)
- Must be a self-starter
- Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
- The ability to support project work and the ability to perform project work independently.
- The ability to assist in solving issues in daily operations as they arise.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
