**Job Title: Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN)**
**Location: Tarzana, CA**
As a Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in the delivery of exceptional patient care within our cardiovascular unit. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with cardiovascular conditions, including cardiac monitoring, vital signs monitoring, and patient history review.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare team members.
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and provide patient education regarding medications, procedures, and self-care techniques.
- Perform and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including but not limited to cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and pacemaker insertion.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings, recognizing and responding promptly to changes in patient status.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, addressing concerns and providing education on lifestyle modifications, risk factors, and disease management strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, facilitate transitions of care, and ensure continuity of services.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in cardiovascular nursing care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
**Qualifications**:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [Insert State].
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (e.g., CVRN-BC, CCRN-CMC) preferred.
