**SUMMARY**
This position is primarily responsible for growing sales in the North Central Region. FlashCo Sales Representatives carry out the mission and objectives of the VP of Sales and the National Sales Manager to achieve the desired outcomes. Represents the company professionally and ethically possessing a high level of integrity.
**SALES TERRITORY**
The sales territory consists of the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
- Calls on roofing wholesale distributors and roofing contractors in the sales territory.
- Calls on new and existing accounts as directed by National Sales Manager.
- Counts and maintains inventory when appropriate.
- Suggests amounts to order and writes orders up when appropriate.
- Drops off latest pricing, literature, samples, etc. regularly.
- Helps resolve issues and reports all issues to the Territory Manager.
- Ensures database is maintained accurately in terms of current personnel and contact information.
- Recommends to National Sales Manager potential accounts, distributors, or contractors that should be called on.
- Maintains and builds relationships with new and existing accounts and all of their personnel.
- Works account deep and wide getting to know all employees of a branch. From branch managers and counter personnel to outside sales, accounting, and yard personnel.
- Quotes formally and informally when required. Enters sales orders when required. Works in sales office when required.
- Provides pricing, product information, lead times, etc. as required and as directed by National Sales Manager.
- Provides product knowledge training sessions with our distributors and contractors.
- Makes at least 30 - 40 sales calls per week.
- Called on to make small deliveries to customers from time to time.
- Highly collaborative with customer service representative ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Reports virtually all communication, verbal and written, to National Sales Manager daily.
- Formally (written) reports sales activity weekly.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 5 years of roofing industry sales experience.
- Preferred experience with SAP Business One Accounting Software.
- Preferred roofing wholesale distribution experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
