Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Navigation Specialists who will work to assist clients to secure and/or maintain sustainable housing.
**Duties**:
- Assess eligibility of potential clients to qualify for the Mainstream and Emergency Housing Vouchers
- Assist clients in filling out eligibility paperwork and gathering supporting documents
- Assist in answering client questions regarding the Housing Choice Voucher Program
- Stay up to date on local housing vacancies
- Make connections and create relationships with local landlords and property managers
- Conduct After Reach Intakes including, participant guide, contract, personal information, Self-Sufficiency Matrix, goals, and Homeless Prevention Tool assessments.
- Input all service interactions into Clarity.
- Attend various meetings as a representative in the JPA, CoC, CES, HMIS, and Homeless Roundtable committees.
- Collaborate with community partners, local agencies, and service providers to enhance outreach efforts and expand resources.
- Commit to serve our clients with excellence in light of our mission and values.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 2+ years Human Services experience
Desired:
- Lived experience OR previous experience in housing navigation, social services, or community organizing
- Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of Human Services experience
Will Consider:

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
