Position Summary: The Scheduler will work proactively with staff and clients in order to manage schedules with mínimal disruptions. They will serve as the single point of contact for parents and staff regarding schedule changes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Some scheduling experience preferredEffective time management skills and ability to multitaskAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have a valid Driver’s license and reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance (under your name)Must be willing to travel between different job sites within the Bakersfield/Wasco areaMust pass background checkAvailability to work within hours of operationEnergetic and coachable personAbility to accept constructive feedbackWritten and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors
Responsibilities:
- Schedule sessions for multiple clients and therapists within given availability at least 1 week in advanceOptimize client and therapist scheduling to ensure that the maximum number of client hours are being providedEnsure employees all employees are being scheduled in accordance with labor law guidelinesAdjust schedules as necessary for any approved time offSchedule meetings/trainings/other events as necessaryInput schedules into scheduling database accuratelyCoordinate day to day schedule changes due to call outs or cancellationsCollaborate with supervisors on schedules and start dates for incoming clientsCoordinate orientations and trainings for all incoming employeesMaintain data for client/therapist locations and contact infoMaintain calendar for meetings, trainings, or eventsMaintain up to date records of client attendanceUse Homebase efficiently to send and reply to messages from staffCommunicate to parents and staff schedule changes or cancellations for day, week, or month-
Greet visitors in office as necessaryFilingOpen and close the center as necessaryProvide tour of centers and answer questions as necessaryAssist Admin staff, site supervisors, and directors with various tasks as assigned
