**What **You’ll** Do**

The Director of IT will select, implement, and maintain The Global Ambassador’s technology systems and equipment. You are responsible for the information security and compliance-related actions within the hotel. You will research, analyze, design, and deliver technology solutions that are necessary for all aspects of the operation. The Director of IT has detailed knowledge of the industry's best practices and trends, as well as a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems, and digital security protocol. From coordinating with external vendors to providing technical support for guests and employees, you’ll ensure technology remains uninterrupted throughout the operation.

As the Director of IT, you are always influential; having the ability to lead through complicated IT projects effectively, while being open to and acting upon feedback - all with the guest and employee experience top of mind. This unique and new role reports to our Managing Director.

**Who You **Are**
- 5+ years’ experience in Information Technology leadership role, including vendor management
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred
- Current knowledge of the latest industry technology trends is a must
- Exceptional communication skills, a love for implementing process, and the ability to bring clarity and simplicity to complex situations
- Ability to keep an eye on the future and anticipate and proactively address potential roadblocks before they happen
- Excellent attention to detail and strong desire to iterate and improve on processes
- An open, curious mind with a desire to deliver a tailored guest experience with a hospitality every time mindset
- A get-it-done approach and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Highly organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Highly responsive and collaborative, a team player who approaches work without ego
- PMP is preferred
