**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
As a Corrections Stock Clerk for the Department of Corrections, you will handle the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies for your assigned institution.

You will be responsible for inventorying stock and receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and raw materials. You will be training and monitoring inmate workers in the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies. Your duties will include preparing routine reports and operating motor vehicles, forklifts, or hand trucks to move oversized or heavy items, remove scrap materials, or make deliveries.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week.
- Work hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

**Additional Requirements**:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

**Legal Requirements**:

- You must pass a background investigation.
