**Job brief**:
We are looking for an experienced payroll specialist to be responsible for weekly processing of in-house payroll for several business entities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process weekly payroll accurately and timely using our payroll software
- Maintain detailed records of payroll data, including hours worked, vacation days, bonuses, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding payroll taxes, wage and hour laws, and other relevant regulations
- Handle all payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any discrepancies in timely manner
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is up to date and in compliance with legal requirements
- Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Work with internal teams and hiring managers to assist with onboarding by prioritizing hiring needs by emergency and department
- Prepare payroll reports for management and provide payroll-related analysis when needed

**Qualifications**:

- Must have experience with Payroll, preferably in hospitality environment
- This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in payroll software
- High degree of proficiency with MS Excel
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solving/analytical abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Previous experience with international staffing and recruiting (J1s in particular)
