**Overview**:
**Main Responsibilities**

- Use creativity to identify potential sales leads using various methods and sources.
- Make cold calls to potential commercial fuel customers and maintain opportunities in companywide CRM.
- Utilize market knowledge and understanding of prospects business to present fueling options and systems and emphasize key value-added features.
- Follow the sales process from start to finish.
- Communicate with various levels of management through a variety of presentation styles in-person, phone or online.
- Set realistic sales goals that align with business unit and company objectives.
- Promote and partner with other product line sales representatives for cross-selling.
- Perform special projects as needed.

**Skills and Qualifications**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

1.Experience with business-to-business (B2B) sales, with transportation industry experience preferred.

3.Strong hunter mentality with experience selling to industrial or commercial businesses.

4.Exceptional people skills; an outgoing and persuasive personality is key to success.

5.Ability to understand customers business needs and translate them into recommendations that are presented both verbally and in writing to customers.

6.Must possess a valid drivers license and be willing to regularly travel locally.

7.Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.

8.Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

9.Experience with CRM software and systems.

10. Preferred skills: Prior experience in the Fleet Card sales space is ideal but not mandatory.

**Language Ability**:
Ability to effectively communicate with management in English. Ability to interact with all levels of management.
