Sands Ford Pottsville is a small business in Pottsville, PA.

New car franchised dealership in Schuylkill County is looking for a self starter in the reconditioning department. Experience is a must. As an Automotive Detailer you will be responsible for the interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles according to company standards and applicable safety measures.

**Job Summary**:
Cleans new and used automobiles. Conforms to dealership specifications

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down door jams. Applies wax and buffs surface.
- Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents
- Restores appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces. Uses touch-up paint.
- Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
- Applies dressing on tires and tire wells. Replaces missing or defective small parts.
- Removes all window stickers on sold vehicles. Keeps work area neat and clean.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner and reports any safety issues immediately to management.

**Qualifications**:

- Basic automotive knowledge required.
- Past experience detailing with knowledge of what the process entails preferred. Experience using a buffer preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required in order to perform essential job functions.

Pay: $14.71 - $16.87 per hour
