The Front Desk Receptionist at Artistry Salon ensures that our clients' experience is as smooth and convenient as possible. We are looking for an upbeat, technologically savvy individual who oversees various points of contact between our salon and our clients.

Furthermore, this role presents an opportunity to improve business processes that refine the customer experience. Artistry welcomes proposals that seek to improve the relationship our salon has with our clients.

You will help boost our reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Warmly greet clients, walk them to the proper beauty station and inform assigned stylists of their arrival
- Serve as the primary point of contact for appointment scheduling and confirmation
- Manage service library and process transactions through our Square POS
- Answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability
- Respond to online feedback in a courteous and professional manner
- Regularly manage and update customer records
- Inform clients about new services and discounts
- Troubleshoot issues clients may encounter in appointment scheduling or payment processing
- Help coordinate communication among salon management and marketing vendor
- Cross-sell services and products when appropriate (e.g. through informative flyers and gift cards)
- Update client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered
- Maintain a tidy front desk area
- Maintain/help with keeping salon work area clean
- Take out trash when needed
- Do salon laundry when needed

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Strong customer service skills, including problem-solving and complaint resolution
- Must be adept with computer, POS systems, and web platforms; Knowledge of Square POS and Square Space site hosting platform a plus
- Passion for improving client experience
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organized
- Strong writing, grammar, and spelling skills
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Must live in or near Mechanicsburg, PA

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
