Job Summary:
Responsible for cleaning common areas throughout the Club and maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the exterior areas of the Club; respond to member and guest needs in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner; adhere to Club workplace safety standards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Sweep, dust mop, and vacuum floors throughout the Club, including exterior wooden and brick galleries surrounding the buildings;
- Take out trash, maintain and replace lining in trash receptacles;
- Clean and sanitize clubhouse bathrooms;
- Dust baseboards, windowsills, pictures, vents, furniture and fixtures;
- Wash mirrors and windows on doors;
- Clean inside and outside of windows;
- Wash floor mats and rugs;
- Replenish bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.) ;
- Polish chrome and brass fixtures;
- Clean ceiling fans, light fixtures, and chandeliers;
- Restock amenities in housekeeping workstations and closets;
- Reset furniture into designated positions when out of place;
- Shampoo carpets throughout the Club, including guestroom carpets;
- Clean and refinish floors;
- Assist in the collection and distribution of linens to and from outlets;
- Complete and submit check list to supervisor twice per week;
- Promptly identify and report maintenance issues to the manager or maintenance department
Qualifications and Physical Requirements:
- Must have a current, valid driver’s license;
- Must be able to lift and carry up to sixty (60) pounds;
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs while carrying cleaning equipment;
- Must be able to bend to clean under furniture;
- Must be able to stand for periods of up to four (4) hours;
- Must be able to climb a ladder at least four (4) feet high
