The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing executive administrative support to the Board of Directors and backup support to the Executive Assistant to the CEO, Chairman, and President. The Executive Assistant will report to the Director of the Office of the CEO, Chairman, and President. The role encompasses a broad variety of administrative including managing calendars, completing expense reports, composing, and preparing correspondence with a high level of confidentiality, arranging complex and detailed travel plans, preparing Board meeting agendas, compiling documents into Board books for meetings, assisting with Board and Committee minutes, coordinating on projects/requests for data with legal and regulatory areas, including both internal and external auditors. The Executive Assistant will research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns related to the Board of Directors and determine the appropriate course of action, referral, or response. The incumbent provides a bridge for smooth communication between the Executive Office and internal departments, as well as Board members and business contacts, all the while demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support. Primary responsibilities also include tracking Board meeting attendance, and fees, submitting expenses, assisting with Board minutes, maintaining Board of Director calendars, managing a variety of special projects, and prioritizing conflicting needs with deadline pressures.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM position, with occasional overtime, located at our Bank Center in Wilmington, DE. With occasional travel to our Bank Place in Philadelphia, PA.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Minimum of 7 years experience providing administrative support to the Board of Directors and C-Level executives, preferably as a part of a publicly traded company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Possess excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build seamless relationships with shareholders, Board members, business contacts, and internal and external Customers.
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
- Experience taking and compiling minutes for Board of Director and Committee meetings preferred.
- Experience with Nasdaq Boardvantage or other Board management software is preferred.
