Our close relationships with major carriers in the industry make Topocean a specialist in ocean transport, especially amongst transpacific trading routes. We are currently looking for individuals with a passion for sales, building relationships and strong communication skills. Multiple lingual is a plus.
As an **Outside Sales Representative**, you will be responsible for prospecting, engaging and closing new accounts, along with building and maintaining relationships with a customer base.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Developing relationships with customers and generating new business.
- Forming a customer base by cold calling, issuing quotes, preparing bids and making formal presentations to prospective customers.
- Soliciting Topocean Group's services which include Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, LTL Transportation and Cargo Insurance and Customs Brokerage.
- Responsible for meeting the monthly goals given by Sales Upper Management.
- Maintaining consistent communication with our Operations/Customer Service Departments and overseas offices.
**Qualifications**:
- 3-5 years in selling Freight
- Multi lingual is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills. Sales experience preferred.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
- The ability to learn quickly and work efficiently as productivity goals must be met.
- Good organizational skills as this position requires working with multiple departments and following up with clients and prospects.
- Proficient in CRM is a plus
**Education & Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
