**Position Overview**:
**Essential Functions**:

- Subject to administrative direction of the Chief Fiscal & Human Resources Officer (CFO-HRO), works consultatively to provide support to the CEI Senior Staff and Commission staff, performing fiscal and administrative activities associated with operations of the various CEI Funds
- Serves as a Technical Fiscal Liaison for the agency
- Manages cash flows through administering the billings and collections of payments from internal and external customers
- Reviews and approves various commission fiscal transactions including procurement obligations and contract filings
- Coordinates various operational and financial audits
- Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, with courses in finance or accounting.
- Requires prior experience equivalent to three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in finance and/or accounting roles.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prefers three (3) + years professional experience in developing budgets, reporting financial results, managing cash flow, and developing metrics
- Prefers two (2) + years professional experience with pricing and/or rate setting, revolving fund management, and federal claiming rules.
- Prefers two (2) + years professional experience managing a supportive agency program, activities, and meeting service objectives.
- Prefers three (3) + years professional experience developing strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prefers two (2) + years of professional experience with commonly used financial management, auditing, accounting, budget software systems, and platforms, including Microsoft Excel.
- Prefers a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited college or university.

- Overtime is a condition of employment, and you may be required/mandated to work overtime including scheduled, unscheduled, or last-minute overtime.
