Building Materials Sales Representative

We are seeking a Building Materials Sales Representative to join our team As an INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service processing orders for building material products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepares the store for daily business (opening and closing)
- Assists customers (in person or on the phone) with purchases and questions
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
- Create sales material to present to customer
- Maintains records of all sales promotions, informs customers of current promotions and specials
- Quotes and produces estimates for customers
- Takes special orders and follows-up with customers
- Schedules deliveries with customer and shipping department
- Handles all job responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets/goals
- Maintains store stock to desired level
- Assists with inventory
- Other duties as requested directed or assigned
- The position is located in a store and could involve sitting, standing, walking, reaching and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Familiarity with POS System
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Punctuality
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Pay: $850.00 - $1,008.00 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Weekends as needed

Travel requirement:

- No travel

Work Location: In person
