**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**The Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) is seeking a full-time Membership Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our team**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Event Ideation**:Collaborate with the MBA team and volunteers to generate innovative event ideas.
- **Event Planning**:Assist with the planning process, including developing event timelines, coordinating logistics and speaker invites.
- **Vendor Management**:Liaise with vendors and contractors to secure services such as catering, entertainment, and photographers.
- **Venue Coordination**:Identify suitable venues and coordinate venue logistics.
- **Virtual Event Management**: Manage the technical aspects of virtual events.
- **Attendee Management**:Oversee the event marketing, RSVP process, manage attendee lists, create name badges, and handle on-site registration.
- **Metrics and Tracking**: Capture and report on event metrics, including attendance and engagement levels.
- **Volunteer Management**: Recruit, train, and oversee on-site volunteers and committee members.
- **Membership Marketing**:Maintain accurate membership records and databases and prepare statistical reports and marketing materials for select member programs.

10. **Special Projects**: Assist with special projects as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**

Bachelor’s Degree with one-year related work experience in event planning, marketing, membership, or volunteer management preferred.
- Incorporated in 1911, the Massachusetts Bar Association is a non-profit organization that serves the legal professional and the public by promoting the administration of justice, legal education, professional excellent and respect for the law. _
