- Must be able to work independently, as a team member, and prioritize work with limited discretion.
- Excellent attention to detail in completing tasks.
- Knowledge of basic Personal Computer operations: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), ERP systems (Infor/Lawson preferred), and Time/Attendance Systems (UKG Kronos Workforce Ready).

**Supervises**:N/A

**Job Goal**:
Under general supervision, assists in the administration of the District’s payroll processes to include time and attendance. Answers employee questions, provides policy interpretation, forms completion, and organizes work to ensure payroll records maintenance and confidentiality of employee data.

**Performance Responsibilities**:

- Secure and maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee payroll data: pay rates, leave balances, personal information.
- Complete payroll information requests: employee income, employment status, subpoenas, leave transfers, experience verifications, etc.
- Proof/process/key/file forms such as W4, direct deposit, elective deferrals, wage attachments, garnishments, bankruptcy, tax levies, family court, retirement buy-back, etc.
- Process/key insurance deductions and adjustments due to life event and enrollment changes.
- Document and prepare required information for off cycle payroll processing and/or system corrections as necessary.
- Process PEBA - Retirement Systems certification of employee wages, withdrawals, and employment status.
- Assist location time editors and approvers with time and attendance process.
- Maintain department’s payroll location files relating to employees, retirees and terminations.
- Review Edit Reports to verify time and attendance information; contact locations and correct errors.
- Review HR transactions; process pay changes, leave adjustments, etc.
- Cross train with assigned staff to ensure business continuity of critical processes.
- Perform other related duties as may be required or assigned by immediate supervisor.

**Terms of Employment**:
Twelve Months, Support/Annual Schedule, Grade G.

2023/2024 Range: $27,783 - $50,531

**Evaluation**:
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s Policy.

Pay: $27,783.00 - $50,531.00 per year
