**Summary**:
We are seeking a Merchandise Coordinator who will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and optimization of product merchandising strategies. Tasks include coordinating product assortments, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring inventory levels meet demand. They may also assist in market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Strong communication skills and organization skills are essential.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with VP of Product & sales team to develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Coordinate the setup and maintenance of product displays in stores or online platforms to optimize visual appeal and sales performance.
- Analyze sales data and consumer trends to identify opportunities for product assortment optimization and promotional strategies.
- Liaise with suppliers to coordinate product deliveries, and resolve any issues related to quality, pricing, or availability.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive pricing strategies.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on merchandising initiatives and objectives.
- Create weekly and seasonal reports.
- Support product maintenance from design concept to post market.
- Create line sheets, merch guides, and product knowledge.
- Support sales with pre-market needs.

**Requirements/Qualifications**:

- 1+ years of experience in merchandising/buying role; preferably in apparel space.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and make data-driven merchandising decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment with changing priorities and challenges.
- Proficient retail math.
- Proficient in MS Office (intermediate/advanced Excel) & Illustrator.
- Fashion merchandising degree, business degree, or similar.
