Maryland Wellness is seeking an organized and attentive **Client Registration Coordinator **to join our operations team As a Client Registration Coordinator, you will be responsible for welcoming visitors and checking-in clients, coordinating client and therapist schedules, assisting with file management and office organization, and contributing to a positive office environment for all. This position is the first point of contact for clients, whether in person, on the phone, or through written communication. Therefore, this individual must provide quality customer service that aligns with the agency’s values and standards of care.

**Requirements**:
**_ Required Skills & Abilities:_**
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is **required**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in medical administration **preferred**:

- Experience in the mental or behavioral health field **preferred**:

- Answers phones and resolves caller needs, or directs caller to the appropriate party.
- Greets and checks-in clients upon arrival, obtains/verifies insurance and demographic information, and provides forms or paperwork as needed.
- Gathers referring source information for all clients
- Uploads insurance and ID cards into EMR System
- Updates referral tracking database once new client information is obtained
- Logs all client communications into the EMR system
- Schedules clients for intake appointments according to our policies.
- Educates visitors on company programs and services.
- Ensures clients have appropriate transportation and arrange accordingly.
- Provides clients with support and guidance as needed.
- Continuously follows up with potential clients.
- Follows the back-end processes and workflow to ensure that clients can receive services in a timely manner.
- Opens authorizations for services.
- Ensures accurate record keeping.
- CPR & First Aid certified
