Accounting Specialist Temporary to Hire | Nashville | Hybrid | Free Parking in Private Lot Available Hourly Pay: $25.00 | Monday - Friday - Choose from 7:00-4:00, 7:30-4:30, 8:00-5:00 Our client in the real estate industry is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join the team The team is easy going, highly collaborative, and friendly. The position is 100% on-site in a beautiful office and provides free parking in their private lot. Tasks / Responsibilities - Accounting Specialist: Review, code, and process incoming vendor invoices and subcontractor payments Resolve vendor statement discrepancies when necessary Set-up and maintain vendor records Record journal entries Assist w/ 1099 processing Assist with reconciliations Assist with maintaining general ledger Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities Support accounting team in various areas Record construction job cost allocations Assist in fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules Assist w/ documentation and reports Collaborate with project manager and internal teams to ensure proper cost coding Qualifications - Accounting Specialist 1-2 years accounting experience required Experience with Sage preferred Basic GAAP knowledge Strong Attention to Detail Skills Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills Construction / Real Estate Experience highly preferred Knowledge of subcontractor billing preferred #INNOV2025 #ZRCFS
