We would like this Key Account Manager to become an Area Manager within the next two years. GENERAL SCOPE Manages an assigned account, or group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service they provide; and identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers.A Sales Service Professional's sole focus is to maintain revenue, price capture and to improve gross profit. A Sales Service Professional may work on attaining new business where appropriate, but that is not their primary assignment or job responsibility. KNOWLEDGE Normally top-level jobs requiring considerable knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general aspects and technical phases of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. JOB COMPLEXITY Independently performs non-routine and moderately complex assignments. Researches assignments, processes, and analyzes data and may develop recommendations. Competently uses computers and other systems to access, maintain, and manipulate data. May provide leadership, direction to lower level employees. In technical or production positions, may determine methods, operations, sequences; develops and/or modifies products and equipment to requirements. IMPACT Impact may affect work of others and potentially, if not caught, at section level. Contributes to and supports the completion of major organization activity. Erroneous work would have negative impact. Key Responsibilities: Lead Daily Management of the safety, quality, delivery, and inventory of applications at a large key customer in Dallas, TX Support and perform standard work as required to ensure safe and effective treatment programs, generate weekly and monthly reports, maintain inventory, order materials, equipment uptime Perform data analysis on program performance. Assists with customer technical issues, brings any issues to the customers attention and work with area and district managers to put together a plan for corrective action. Build strong customer relationships Pursue growth and swap opportunities to maximize customer value. Participate in technical training opportunities for advancement of skills and knowledge. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical and Paper strongly preferred) Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills. Ability to build client relationships easily Analytical ability and great problem-solving skills Presentation skills and ability to convey product value High-level organizational skills for maintaining sales of complex product portfolio Self-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds.
