This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Partner Solution Architect with a Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) background to enable new capabilities for our customers to design and deploy UCaaS/CCaaS solutions on AWS. You are responsible for the technology, strategy, and senior level relationships with strategic and/or fast-growing Independent Software Vendors (ISV). The Partner Solutions Architect will create and drive the technical strategy with assigned ISV partners, taking the lead on go-to-market products built on and/or integrated with AWS. Collaborating with your partners, you will craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that provide solutions to solve customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In collaboration with your team at AWS, you will drive revenue growth through customer adoption of partner solutions on AWS.
You will also have the opportunity to build your cloud brand, leaving your mark with whitepapers, webinars, event presence, and innovative new patents for what could potentially be a future AWS product or feature. You will be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams within AWS; Must be open to travel at least 30% including international.
Work with partners as a strategic advisor to deeply understand their business and technical needs.
Develop solutions that make the best use of the AWS services like AWS EC2, EKS, ECS, SageMaker and other communications platform for interactive voice response (IVR), automatic call distribution, and integration with other AWS services for data storage and analytics.
Collaborate with AWS field sales, training, and support teams to ensure partner success.
Exhibit thought leadership by evangelizing AWS Services and ISV solutions that benefit customers. Share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public speaking events such as AWS Summit and AWS re:Invent.
Act as technical liaison between partners and the service engineering teams, providing product improvement feedback to AWS developers and accelerating the adoption of new features in customer deployments.
Provide one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to builders considering or already using AWS.
Capture and share bestpractice knowledge among the AWS solutions architecture community.
Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within partners to enable them to be cloud advocates.
Act as a technical liaison between partners, service engineering teams, and support.
Hands on experience and be able to develop proofofconcepts for solutions involving AWS services.
Drive product integrations between partner products and AWS services.
Prove thought leadership in the form of publishing blog posts, public speaking, white papers and reference architectures.
Meeting partner product managers and engineering teams to discuss blockers or obtain feedback about ongoing build activities.
Building and testing a Proof of Concept (PoC) or creating a code sample.
Writing a blog post or white paper.
Consuming technical news and learning about the latest happenings in the market and software community.

2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
~3+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
~4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
~2+ years of experience with Unified Communications and Collaboration role involving the design, development, and implementation of complex voice/video solutions. Recent and demonstrable handson experience with AI/ML, GenAI workloads.

Experience working within software development or Internetrelated industries.
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
Deep handson expertise in configuring and building CCaaS or UCaaS solutions including IVR Contact Flows, Lambda coding, Amazon Lex, ACD Routing, Telephony integration, and SIP Trunking.
