Role Description This is a contract role for a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) based on-site in Savannah, GA. The counselor will provide therapeutic services to individuals, families, and couples, facilitating their mental health and emotional well-being. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, managing therapy sessions, and maintaining accurate client records aligned with ethical and legal standards. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to the centers holistic approach to care will be integral to the role. Qualifications Proficiency in individual therapy and bio-psycho-social assessments. Specialization in trauma recovery, eating disorder recovery, or related fields Skills in conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions Strong documentation, organizational, and record-keeping abilities Excellent communication, active listening, and empathy skills Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field Current and active LAPC licensure in the state of Georgia Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting Ability to commute to job site
