We are a mid-size law firm in Downtown Chicago that's looking to hire a Legal Billing Specialist ASAP
Health, Dental, Vision
Finalize and distribute complex invoices through submission to clients, including various e-billing platforms
Prepare, submit, track and monitor e-bills through various client billing platforms; Respond to client and attorney billing inquiries promptly and completely; Maintain accurate, up-to-date client and/or billing attorney specific billing instructions
Open client matters in time and billing system, review for accuracy and consistency
Review daily cash reports for relevant client and matter payments; monitor collections
Input AP Invoices into accounting system
Create billing reports and spreadsheets for analysis as required
1+ years of billing and/or e-billing experience within a professional services or law firm (preferred)
Microsoft Office Suite with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of billing, e-billing, LEDES formatting, and accounting systems preferred
