Requirements: 10+ years of Water Infrastructure estimating experience. Work with Wastewater/Water treatment plants, pump stations, and water/sewage pipelines required.
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team specializing in Water infrastructure projects. The Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and providing valuable insights to ensure successful project execution. This position requires a strong understanding of heavy civil construction, particularly in water treatment and wastewater management.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for water infrastructure projects, including water treatment plants, wastewater pipelines, and sewage systems.
Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and materials required.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather relevant information for accurate estimating.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Utilize estimating software, such as HCSS, to produce accurate bid proposals and reports.
Review and analyze historical data to inform future estimates and project planning.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience as an Estimator in heavy civil construction, specifically in water infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of water treatment, wastewater, and sewage systems.
Familiarity with estimating software, particularly HCSS.
