CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Sr. MEP Project Manager to join our Commercial & Institutional - MEP Team at any of the following office locations: Atlanta, GA; Albany, NY; Bethlehem, PA; Brooklyn, NY; Rochester, NY; or Parsippany, NJ. What You'll Do: CHA creates state-of-the-art mechanical systems that prioritize energy efficiency without sacrificing strength or ramping up costs. Our technical professionals have valuable hands-on experience as plant managers and engineers in industrial settings so we can create solutions for complex facilities including complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering, and design/construction services. At CHA, the Sr. MEP Project Manager works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget and schedule while thoroughly understanding all project risks and applicable financial measures. This senior, key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial or logistical issues that may arise. Our Sr. MEP Project Managers are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure. The Sr. MEP Project Manager sells and develops work with specific clients, ultimately leading to a "seller/doer" dual role. Our Sr. MEP Project Managers are leaders in identification of target market areas and marketing plan development. The Sr. Project Manager clearly and successfully communicates updates to the client, management and project team, as well as prepares for and attends monthly project review meetings with operations. The Sr. MEP Project Manager plays an important role in setting visions and strategies for other Project Managers and understands the professional goals of others. Find your "why" at CHA What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required; Master's Degree preferred PE or equivalent professional license is required A minimum of 11 years of MEP design experience required; a minimum of 8 years of project management experience required Experience managing multi-disciplined MEP projects from design through construction is preferred Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects required Experience understanding and interpreting client contract requirements Experience utilizing problem-solving skills, exercising discretion, and making independent judgments required Experience managing project accounting processes to include project budgeting, forecasts and cash management required Ability to demonstrate technical proficiency in his/her respective discipline Ability to perform duties across multiple projects as needed Ability to travel as needed required Experience managing client relationships is required An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups Strong ability to resolve matters timely and lead initiative/projects to completion with a sense of urgency Strong experience with project budgeting Ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships across the company, and influence decisions from top down and bottom up Demonstrates an understanding of accounting processes Demonstrated leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results Experience understanding and interpreting client contract requirements and managing client relationships Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
