Remote Talent Acquisition Manager

The Human Resources Talent Acquisition Representative is responsible for being instrumental in attracting and selecting top talent to drive our retail operations and support our growth. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, from identifying staffing needs and crafting compelling job postings to interviewing candidates and facilitating the hiring process. Your expertise in talent acquisition will help us build a diverse and high-performing team that aligns with our company’s values and objectives. The Human Resources Talent Acquisition Representative will play a critical role in building a positive work culture, driving employee involvement, and supporting change management efforts within the retail organization.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Create and post engaging job advertisements across various platforms, including job boards, social media, and company website.
Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates and conduct initial phone screenings to assess suitability.
Facilitate the interview process, including preparing interview questions, conducting interviews, and providing feedback to hiring teams.
Manage candidate communications, including job offers, negotiations, and onboarding arrangements.
Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future openings and proactively engage with passive talent.
Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate sources, to continuously improve the hiring process.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to ensure Citi Trends remains competitive in attracting top talent.
Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a retail or similar fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing recruitment challenges.
This position requires up to 40% travel.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably within a retail or similar industry.
Experience with recruitment software and tools is a plus.
HR certification (e.g., Discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
