We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead a talented team at our 1.4M sq. ft. flagship distribution facility in Katy, TX — one of the best-running sites in our entire network. This is a high-visibility leadership role with strong operational partnerships and the opportunity to make a lasting impact. Lead and oversee the maintenance for a 24/7 automated distribution facility.
Manage a team of 14 (2 leads, 6 Tech II, 6 Tech I) with a healthy and collaborative relationship with operations leadership.
Balance responsibilities between office and floor (roughly 60/40) depending on the day.
Drive reliability and continuous improvement — from preventative maintenance to implementing process changes that enhance uptime and throughput.
Oversee equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair, and contractor/vendor maintenance activity.
Execute and evolve the Preventative Maintenance Plan while tracking key metrics like uptime and PM compliance.
Ensure all work meets FDA and cGMP quality standards.
Lead budget oversight and resource planning to meet production and quality goals.
Serve as a key on-call leader to support operational needs for a 24/7 facility.
Experienced: 7+ years in maintenance, ideally in big box automated distribution, fulfillment, or automated manufacturing environments.
Leader: 3+ years managing people — building strong teams, driving performance, and leading through change.
Willing and able to support a 24/7 operation through on-call leadership responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s in Engineering or related discipline preferred).
Work in a well-run, high-performing site with strong cross-functional partnerships.
Lead a skilled team of maintenance professionals who value collaboration and operational excellence.

This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
