Datacenter Technician Location: Twinsburg, OH (Mon - Friday) Duration: 12 months 2nd shift: 3:30PM -11PM or 3rd Shift: 11PM -7AM Rate: W2 hourly Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to assist in the decommissioning of over 600 servers. This short-term contract role involves comprehensive responsibilities to ensure the efficient and secure removal of servers and associated equipment. Key Responsibilities: Server Decommissioning: Safely power down, disconnect, and remove servers from racks. Inventory Management: Document and track all decommissioned equipment. Cable Management: Remove and organize cabling associated with decommissioned servers. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the decommissioning process. Collaboration: Work closely with IT and facilities teams to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications: Experience in data center operations and server management. Knowledge of data wiping and hardware disposal procedures. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to security protocols.
