Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's (OCI) architecture development engineering team is seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Principal Technical Program Manager to manage GPU Platform and Infrastructure projects by aligning priorities from various teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and driving end-to-end execution of complex products. We are at the forefront of AI innovation, exploring the next generation of AI accelerators and hardware solutions. In this Senior Principal Technical Program Management role, you will be working with the software development team on GPU infrastructure, distributed computing, highly available cloud services and virtualized infrastructure. You will be closely collaborating with a multi-functional team that understands our business and its objectives, to lead us through planning and designing technical solutions to solve the business's problems in a very agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. You will also interact closely with third party GPU IC suppliers & partners as well as internal hardware and software development teams to help drive Oracle's AI Cloud platform solution space. You will define project scopes, plan and direct schedules while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects. You should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and notable experience collaborating in hybrid teams. You are a self-starter technical leader with a shown ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new projects. You have strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building. You should be customer-focused with a passion for the cloud. You will partner closely with peers, developers, and customers to create solutions, while simultaneously evolving existing capabilities. Responsibilities Job Requirements : Demonstrated knowledge in GPU infrastructure, platform and software development. Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level. Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands. Strong experience of working with engineers on the software development of AI models and GPU computing Strong skills to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues. Experience with technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and technical documentation. Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership. Aptitude to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures. Work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain roadmaps, setting appropriate expectations while maintaining standards. Thrive and succeed in an innovative and fast-paced environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or conflicting priorities. Work as a lead contributor individually, and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others as needed/requested. Drive other obligations management duties, as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar. 10+ years of experience as hands-on technical program manager; preferably in a related industry. Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product development and experience launching and operating customer-facing cloud services Experience efficiently and effectively communicating findings/progress to cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and the broader organizations, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment. Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn about new tools, software, and market opportunities quickly. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of program/project management, product design or related experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field or equivalent work experience Strong understanding of GPU infrastructure services, and thorough knowledge of Cloud such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking Demonstrated knowledge of OCI, AWS, Azure or Google IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
