Role: Data & AI Solutions Expert Location: Houston, TX 77079 Duration: 12+ Month Contract Work Authorization: , , or Authorized to work in the US Job Description We are seeking a Data & AI Solutions Expert to join our growing AI team. This role blends data engineering expertise with hands-on delivery of generative and agentic AI solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to a team of 5-6 AI specialists, with the potential to step into a leadership role. Key Responsibilities Build and optimize data pipelines across relational databases. Manage and transform data to enable advanced AI initiatives. Architect, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions, including generative AI and agentic systems. Integrate AI tools into business systems using APIs and cloud services. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills & Tools Python - primary language for AI and data engineering. SQL & MS SQL Server/PostgreSQL - strong database design and querying skills. Azure Data & AI Services - Synapse, Data Factory, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services. Databricks - for data transformation and ML/AI workflows. LangChain / Semantic Kernel - for building generative and agentic AI applications. Vector Databases - Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar for RAG-based AI solutions. API Integration - REST, GraphQL, and enterprise system connectivity. Preferred Experience with M&A-related data integration. Leadership or mentoring background in data/AI teams.
